It's not for herself, but for her co-star, former F4 member Ken Chu.
The couple are slated to play lovers in a new China-produced drama entitled Tian Kong Zhi Cheng, loosely translated as City In The Sky.
Filming will start early next month and is expected to last four months.
Michelle, 30, met Ken briefly on the set of Meteor Garden II, where she played the love interest of Ken's buddy.
When asked for her first impression of Ken, Michelle exclaimed: 'It's been so long already!'
Almost two years, to be exact.
But when we persisted, memories came flashing back.
'Oh, he speaks English!' she said in an excited tone.
'That is very imporant, because communication won't be so difficult.'
Although Michelle speaks Mandarin, she said she communicates better in English.
