[translated by David] Q: When you're not in a good mood, what do you like to eat to make yourself feel better?

A: (without any hesitation) Chocolate! Ever since I was little I love to eat it, even when I'm not feeling down!

Q: Do you usually cook yourself?

A: No- definitely not- do I look like that sort of person? Please- no no- of course not.

Q: Do you have experience cooking yourself?

A: When I'm out of the country sometimes I have no choice. But it's simple stuff like spaghetti plus a bunch of vegetables.

Q: Talk about your worst cooking experience?

A: A long time ago I put some food in the microwave to heat (it was probably some spaghetti meat sauce), but the sauce suddenly exploded! My goodness! I had to clean up the big mess while complaining incessantly- the biggest reason why I don't like to cook is just that- cleaning up! Not only that but I don't like to get all greasy.

Q: What kind of food do you find the most disgusting?

A: Internal organs! Sometimes they don't look like it but once I eat it I just go "bah bah bah!" Internal organs have a bad smell that cannot be disguised. Also I can't stand fermented bean curds. I ate a lot of it in Taiwan- it was too scary!

Q: What is the recipe that puts in a good mood?

A: In the background some lounge music plays while in my hand is a humorous and interesting book- with that setup my mood naturally becomes happy.

Q: In life what things make you eat needlessly?

A: When myself or others receive unreasonable treatment, get bullied upon, and lied to. I don't care what others write about me because I don't read it. I don't care about it as long as it doesn't infringe upon the privacy of my family or friends. If it does we can't stand it.

Q: If you describe men as a type of food, what would it be?

A: (she starts to look around, perhaps to find inspiration, then finally...) Men are like sushi. It has various tastes and external shapes! Some sushi looks delicious on the outside but tastes very disgusting; others look very ordinary but has a great taste.

Michelle Saram's Food suggestions:

  • The Seacoast Park Food Center has a lot of delicious food, but right now it's renovating. ??? is also good- it has famous good food. Several good friends and I all live in that area and when we have time we'll go and take a stroll and eat.
  • For midnight snacks, might as well check out the Adam road food center. The Malaya rice noodles... Mmm...... Yellow ginger......Mmm...... Coconut juice......Mmmm!
  • I also go to ??? often. The food I like most there include ??, the fish head rice noodle, the fruit, pork noodles and fried rice. When I was a child I loved to eat the red bean desert there.
